RegulatingCrypto.com saw the light of day due to a combination of three ingredients: one part interest, one part education & one part frustration. 

Interest

The crypto industry is vastly interesting. Not just due to the speed of development and the opportunities it provides, but equally due to its disruptive nature (we haven’t even scratched the surface of what blockchain technology can do). The crypto industry is boggling the minds of legislators across the globe, making this industry all the more interesting. 

Education

The idea of RegulatingCrypto.com was inspired by the LL.M. IT Law taught at Trinity College Dublin, the #1 ranked university of the Rep. of Ireland . The heavily IT Law-orientated course provided a solid foundation for the research shown here. 

Frustration

The last ingredient that was necessary to “brew” what RegulatingCrypto.com is today was frustration. A frustration of there not being proper information for people with an interest in crypto about blockchain, cryptocurrencies and other crypto assets about what is safe and legal to do, buy, sell and trade.
